Help with Windows Media
Note: You
may experience long delays (30 seconds) until the music starts
with Windows Media Player. This is normal.
If you
have Windows Media Player installed or upgraded and are still having
problems, see the Windows Media Player Frequently
Asked Questions
Getting
Started with Windows Media Player
The
easiest way to test if Windows Media Player is installed and configured
correctly is to simply try and listen to one of the stations using
the Windows Media Player option. If you have Windows Media Player
installed, the music will start playing in about 15 seconds. If
you don't have it installed, you will be given information on downloading
it from the Microsoft site.
If you
need to download Windows Media Player, you can download
it from the Microsoft Web site.
Once
you've downloaded the installer, close all of your other programs,
and then run the installer. Follow all of its instructions until
the process is complete. Additional help with downloading and installing
Windows Media Player is available on the Microsoft
Windows Media Player Support Page.
- There
seems to be around a 3 hour maximum time you can listen until it
shuts down. We are trying to figure out why. If you listen that
long (thanks!) you should really install a streaming
radio player.
- If
you are having problems with Media Player crashing your browser,
try waiting until the the music starts. It seams to crash when
the browser is closed when it is still buffering.
